Cricket bat sheath I made for my brkt bravo 1.5 I borrowed the pouches from another build I did for a knife I don't own any more. Kinda like the look of the natural leather not only that I can't afford the dye!

Not an original idea, been done before, but I made up a dump pouch for a friend. He is an avid mushroom hunter, so I made half of the bag mesh and kept half of it waxed canvas. I made the waxed canvas myself, and probably used too much wax, but this was my fist go at it. All in all it turned out just fine. Very simplistic design, but I am betting it would be handy to have on your belt on any given hike.

Regardless of whose idea it is, it is a great idea. Old mans beard for tinder, ruffage, berries, mushrooms. The waxed canvas backside really makes it imo. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it is definitely a multi purpose little item, meant for more than just mushrooms. The mesh side is my idea, but the next go-around I think I am going to just stick with waxed canvas on both sides.

The sheath @SEMO made came out amazing and the turnaround was remarkable. Two beautiful full custom sheaths in under a week. I couldn't be happier.

Had leftover materials. Decided to make a sheath for my little skinner. Kind of a small awkward knife to make a sheath for but anyway here it is. I put a belt clip on it so's I can put it on a molle loop. Gonna punch some holes and stitch it later when i get some more waxed thread

Finished and shipped my first 'set' of carved sheaths today. Kinda sad to see them go, it's taken a while to finish. Carothers Performance Knives Light Chopper, Field Knife, and EDC.

Light Chopper sheath. I didn't see this big of a coloration discrepancy in person between the sheath and dangler, I think it was partially lighting and partially the difference in the way the antique took to the different tooling types. 'Best' is subjective but if I was grading myself, this was the best.

Field Knife sheath. By far the most technically difficult, lots of tiny bevelings and demarcations.

The EDC, my favorite by far. The others are very structured, this one is very fun to me.

I have played around with kydex a couple times, and it has never turned out good lol. But this time it turned out pretty good. Made this for my ESKABAR. Love kydex and leather. 20170320_134912.jpg 20170320_134933.jpg 20170320_134957.jpg 20170320_135028.jpg 20170320_135052.jpg 20170320_142643.jpg 20170320_135118.jpg
