Blue anodized Chris Reeve Inkosi with Micarta Inlays!

    So I have been wanting to do this for a while. I had no idea how the micarta might affect the anodizing or how the anodizing might affect the micarta. I was prepared to own a messed up Inkosi. That would have been OK too as I have been eyeing one anyway. Luckily it all worked out and I think it is cool as hell! What do you guys think?

    That's really cool, Scott!
    I'm not sure the blue is my favorite color with that natural micarta, though. Can you do a matte green or black too? Bet those will sell nicely.

    Can not do green because we have to etch the titanium and it would ruin the scales and unfortunately black is no where on the ano scale. It would look cool though!

    You can use oxy clean to get a black tint to grow on the titanium. You have to boil it in water though, which might loosen up the epoxy holding on the inlays.
