Feb 7, 2017. A nor'easter builds outside -- 3" to 6" before turning to sleet and freezing rain through morning. Dangerous icing and possible power outages are forecast. But in here, after a third bowl of chicken stew, all is warm. This track is probably my favorite indie rock track ever by any band. It's impossible for me to sit or stand still while listening. It's like an aerobic workout involving all body parts.
This is #2. I saw them live in '72. This is the best version of this song ever recorded. It'll never be topped.
Duuuuuuuuude. I JUST found out bout this guy. My buddy schooled me onnit 2weeks back. Yeah, he's damn good.
Watch that whole concert where the song alone came from. He has a great personality. The lady next to him is a good singer as well.
Yes, live. In Memphis. It was maybe the second live concert I ever got to see at about age ... 20 or 21. Over the top for me. Best I've ever seen? Lemme think on that for a minute ...... No, not even close. That would go to Moody Blues with full orchestra (twice). Or maybe David Berne in Santa Fe. Or Richie Hawtin as Plastiqueman in Seattle's Aerodome (a huge club) circa 1999. So many, hard to say. But that Zepplin concert was easily in the top X.
