Knife came today! it's perfect. Although it took him a long time to ship it, he was very good about communicating with me.
That's how mine showed up too. I guess they ship from different locations. Check with Alan, he should have a secondary tracking number for you.
Just an update on my order. I currently have received 3 different packages over the span of about 3 weeks. Each package contained one individual knife. All of these were ordered on the same transaction in mid October. Orders don't seem to be shipped in any kind of order because many people have received their orders that ordered long after me. As far as UEW/Alan, communication continues to be good. He has been more proactive about contacting me this last week. He says I will have the rest of my order this week and the day I do I will post here.
I do believe UEW were swamped with orders beyond what they imagined, which introduced a whole lot of chaos into the shipping process. Alan's communication has been improving steadily, and hopefully they'll get all their ducks in a row sooner than later. I received my part order, one ZT. Now waiting on the second and the backpack...
I real hope everyone gets their stuff from UEW, but the gear deals thread is getting overtaken. Could someone move the UEW orders and issues to another thread?
