Our 5th stringer just scored, field goal good 54-16. It's been a very good season even despite our mistakes. I am proud of them.

It's getting a little ridiculous. In one Facebook thread on the UA football profile, I saw several people complaining because Alabama allowed three consecutive first downs against Florida! The expectations are starting to defy reason. Some of these folks are late-comers to the party who've only known Saban's success. However, I grew up in Alabama with the Bear and am an alumnus of UA. That means I also suffered through the lean years of Perkins, Curry, Stallings, Dubose, Franchione, Price, and Shula. The lowest point was maybe Price being fired before he even coached a game, and of course, there was the bright spot of Stallings' 1992 championship season. Point being? It's all relative and comes in cycles. Better enjoy the Saban era while it lasts because the current level of expectations won't hold up forever.
UA? I thought you were a Dean at Vanderbilt. No one will beat Alabama in the Championship game, not even Clemson. I think I will need to revise my estimates: Alabama 44, Clemson 13.
