Ever notice how much our classical foods look just like the murky slow moving surface of our ancestral waterways?

Pancakes! Both regular and savoury (jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, cumin, coriander, cayenne) I like to make a big pile of the savoury ones and take them to work. Eat em cold on the the run or with 10 year aged British white cheddar
Well , it's a blizzard here in Metro Vancouver BC , might as well weird out / freak out / piss off the Strata Council dictators and go grill some meat on the Lodge KickOff cast iron charcoal grill outside on my truck tailgate, while wearing flip flops , shorts and a tshirt
edit - I did grill the chicken on the charcoal grill . Mixed it with the chilies, onion and garlic after still not the same as the tandoori chicken cooked in a proper tandoor pit. Gonna have to build a portable tandoor oven soon..
Tandoori pit. I had to look that up. Down here those are called “chimenea” you can get them in most trade days or flea markets. Fired clay sometimes sold with a wrought iron stand. I saw examples made of stainless, basically a box with a hole in the top. My brother had one he offered to give me but it got broken before I could get there.
