I'm waiting for a Savotta Big Bad Stove to arrive and with the temps getting a bit cooler I will soon have something for this thread.

They're awesome. We had a heat wave and a fire ban, so I had no use for one during summer, but its time is coming :D

Yep, I think all of europe was like that. We've had very very little rain here to add to the heat. :(

That kettle looks great, I've been eyeing them for a long time, they seem to be great products.

True, it's not small at all but still very convenient to pack. It held the pot very securely, the whole stove stays firmly planted on the ground and produces quite the heat, the oil in that pot got to a boiling point in no time.

Had some leftover breakfast sausage, and lots of lil tomatoes from the garden so I thought I would fire up my firebox and break out my smallest skillet.

Pics loaded in random order .

The SIEGE STOVE in titanium (or stainless) fits PERFECTLY into a small MAGPUL DAKA pouch, with room for a FerroRod and a bunch of tinder.

I just had breakfast but your pics make me hungry again :D looks very tasty!
I need to find one of those skillets on this side of the pond.
Does the handle stay cool on those when it sits on the fire?

Never seen that stove before I think...
Love how it's lifted above the ground,
is it high enough to prevent the ground from charring?

for the most part yes. If your over pine needles etc it will burn due to the extreme heat , but I've never had issues

    Link for ya.

It helps, but will heat up after a while. Cools quicker than cast iron though being thinner.

Being that my adventures are vehicle based, I prefer the white gas/gasoline stoves in various flavors.

I have a selection of them. Single, dual and even a couple triple burner models.

The oven is pretty neat. We've done a little cooking on it around the house.

I need to break it out and play with it more. Maybe bake some bread or something so get used to running it.

@KnOeFz seeing that Kelly Kettle reminds me.... I think I have one of those packed away somewhere, going to have to dig around for it!

It a fun piece of gear, a bit bulky but works great. I say, dig it out and fire it up :D
