It an original from the 1950's I believe. A lovely slingshot to use. I didn't pay much for it but they go for a fair bit on eBay now.

I have two single shots, one 1923 Iver Johnson .410 that I have has since I was 5 and an H&R Topper in.410
    that was my papaws.
Have you seen where Henry is making single shots now?
They look nice! I'd buy one but I need a new bird gun and I would never shoot a single shot.
My two in the safe haven't been shot in 30 years

I have a Savage model 24, single shot 20Ga with a .22WMR on top. I really like it.

My first gun that my late father had ready for me at home when I graduated hunter safety course in 1981, when I turned 12. It's an H&R break action single shot in 20ga. I still have it 40 years later. I used it to teach my 2 boys to shoot and hunt safely.

I've had many guns since but that shotgun is in the safe waiting for my grandchildren. Just hope I live long enough and stay well enough to help them learn what I've learned over 40 years.

About all I’ve ever hunted with, single shot shotgun and rifle. I’ve owned several, 2 H&R Pardners, currently shooting a Henry 20 gauge. Love it!!

The first shotgun I had growing up was a New England 20 ga. single shot.
That thing kicked the crap out of me, course I didn't have any padding on my shoulder.
It probably gave me a flinch haha.
