I was replacing the ignition coils and saw this. I know it's a ground but not sure for what. I could not get the bolt to budge so I just used some electrical tape for now. Any ideas what it's for? Sorry for the bad picture. It's coming from the metal bar above the fans, but it's not connected to them. 20220613_191422.jpg

No problem. I’d be leery of just stripping the cable back and crimping a new end on.

Usually shorter cables like that will get corrosion all through them once they start to go.

I'll have her buy a new one. They go for around $10. Yeah the one she has is pretty corroded.

Just a motor ground. You'll have a few of them usually. All you really need to do is get another cable end and I solder and use the glue type heat shrink to seal it. Late to the party but thought I'd throw that out there for next time or next person.
