I don’t have a Seiko per se, but I do have a cool dive watch with a Seiko movement.

MKII Paradive Gen 3 with the made in Japan SII NE15 movement from Seiko.

If you like the look, shoot me a message. They’re currently out of stock, and I’m only looking to sell because I have another diver from the same company that gets most of the wear.

    Still looking!

(That watch above is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, just a little more than what I am looking for)

I ended up finding a Seiko and spent lots of money and effort into getting it rebuilt…but it has been nothing but problems with losing time randomly…sometimes 15 mins in a day.

So I guess I’m still looking

They're pretty popular in Vancouver. If you find a nice one and confirm authenticity with the buyer I'll happily facilitate and ship to ya

What did you buy, from where and where did you have it fixed?

I bought a Seiko 7002-7009 (made 11/1992) from a trusted forum member I’ve known a long time, and had a very trusted and reputable watch guy from BCUSA service it. He replaced winding rotor, mainspring and seals. He fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled and put it back together. The case was ran through his ultrasonic cleaner and he also relumed the dial. He showed me before and after photos of the watch on the TimeGrapher and it really made a difference. I spoke to him once about the losing time issue when it first happened once or twice and he was stumped and said to keep him posted. It’s been happening at least once or twice a week (I never take the watch off except for showering) and I haven’t contacted him back yet. Now I know full well that when you buy a 30 year old watch you take a gamble. I don’t regret buying it at all. I love it! But it just might not be best for my intended use of a daily user. It will be more of a collector/special occasion watch…I think a skx007 would be a better daily wear watch.
Here’s a few shots of my Seiko on various Nato/Zulu straps…plus the excellent lume Chris did

You can buy an NH35 movement for that watch for like $40 brand new and just have a watch maker or repair guy change out the movement and have him regulate it easy peasy
