I just bought a new ESEE 4 with three extended scales in (black, orange and ranger green). All are extended Architect scales in G10 from theknifeconnection.com. Turns out that the ESEE 3D scales in G10 feel better in my hand. I certainly don't need 3 sets of these and would be willing to sell them for $30 each set (I'll pay USPS shipping in the continental US). I would also be willing to trade a even for the ESEE 3D scales from a ESEE 3 or 4. I would be interesting in buying a set of ESEE 3D scales if someone has a set they would like to sell. I would consider trades for other ESEE handles or knives. I own two ESEE 4, and ESEE 3 and Xancudo (with hole). So that is where my tastes reside, but I could be interested in other quality backpacking models. Everything I have is G10, so I would consider micarta handles , and am also interested in the HM models of the 3 and/or 4. 9/2/ edit Adding some pictures. Finding I like the "green" and S35VN combo, and "beestokk" has first claim on the "orange" if he wants them. That leaves the "black" still available. I've posted pictures of the "orange" with black marks from the sheath. I don't know how long it took to make those marks, as I received the used knife and scales like this. Promised that I would wait until 9/13 for confirmation on the 1st person who requested for the "orange" scales. If they don't respond by then I will let you know they are yours. If they say not interested before then I will let you know. Assuming you just want to buy them (not trade).
Orange scales have been sent to beestokk. The black extended G10 scales are still available. Oddly those are the ones that I expected to go quickest.
Sorry boss_crew, the orange was just mailed out. Black is still available if you want it. Otherwise thanks for the interest.
I should also note that I would be interested in buying a set of ESEE 3D scales, or maybe even a set of the "TKC Compact" scales. I still like the ESEE 3D better than the extended scales. It would be for the S35VN ESEE 4, and I'm not overly picky about colors. The Black and even Ranger Green extended scales are still available.
Black scales shipped off today to Drew RedBear. I am left with the ranger green. Which really is pretty nice on the S35vn blade. And not to hard to live with as my final configuration. I'm still open for a trade for 3D scales, or a straight sale on the remaining ranger green.
Replied to PM. The last set of Green scales are now spoken for. I'll change the thread title to SOLD once the scales are mailed out.
Last set of scales payed for and will be mailed out tomorrow. I'll be ordering new 3D scales soon. Thanks to all three members for very nice clean sales and trade.
