There is no supporting this lol. But yeah, I cut it where I wanted, but when I went to sand it with the dremel... It kinda got away from me.

I had thought about that afterwards lol, but I may just do a leather wrap instead. Or use it to make kydex for my little flashlights?

I’ve owned several Esee’s over the years, but this is the first set of TKC scales I’ve had my hands on. What a difference! AAAD7C3A-89BC-45F8-B327-342180ABB14C.jpeg

I'm planning to get these scales, how do they compare in terms of grip to the stock canvas micarta ones? I found a colleague of mine that can order them for me and ship them.

Better, imo, since they're contoured and Micarta as well. So they feel better in hand and still have the gripiness of Micarta.

Since I just got back on the forum I posted this picture in the general ESEE knives thread but here is my 6.
I Need to give it more attention this fall and winter. In warm weather I get FE322E44-DD20-417B-9429-D276FEF62B8C.jpeg a little bit lazy and usually just pack a shorter bladed knife

    Have a new 6 3D inbound.
Had my 6HM out by the fire last night.

Breaking down wood, shaving feathers. It's like a metal woobie.
    Just comforting to have around.
So a spare was ordered last night.

As our world spirals evermore out of control, I have been adding trinkets to my cache.
This month it was a Ruger PC-9 Take Down with associated food to feed it.

I actually started putting back some extra beer.

    I figured an extra 6 wouldn't hurt.
Green Blade, with OD/Black scales from Olde Towne Cutlery.
