I been looking at getting my first scandi ground knife and have settled on one of these I think. Looks perfect.
I neglect mine, I just love it for woodworking and food prep but just never use it, has that save the best for last feel.
One of my faves. Great for carving tasks and easy on the mitts for extended use. It's also stout enough for general camp work and firecraft. I'll continue to bug @shaneadams90 for an ESEE puukko, but the RB3 is a scandi gem.
The PR4 is “almost” a puuko and it has sorely tempted me but… I hold out hope for something thin, like 3/32” thin, someday…..someday.
@Kaw-liga Don’t get me started on how much I would love to design a ESEE Puukko! **Cough *** Cough*** @shaneadams90 .. I no longer have a RB3 for a few different reasons. But the more I work with Scandi blades the more I realize I should give the RB3 another chance!
Dane, everyone should have an RB3 laying around to play with. You should definitely give it another whirl.
