Gonna be a long wait lol. Just a few things I'll need for putting tubes in the esee 6 scales and leather tools. I think I'm gonna start getting back into leather crafts.
How do you like Crashpad gear? Is it Australian made and decent quality? I've been thinking about getting some of their chainsaw bags, bags work great for transporting saws in the helicopter. Using Husqvarna branded ones now and looing for something a bit more sturdy.
...... this is my first purchase from them but they have earned a really good reputation here and when you want something if it is available on the website grab it as they sell out so fast !!! Look at how much is unavailable, that is as I hear it a demand issue. It is set to arrive tomorrow so I shall report on it. Their saw bags look excellent !!!! I am also looking at one from Drifta here ... https://www.drifta.com.au/product/drifta-chainsaw-bag/
Don’t use these enough to justify a gas one so decided to give 40v of power a try and see how it goes! I think I’ll have to go cut stuff tomorrow just for fun and to experiment a little
I bought my dad probably the same model a while back. The thing is a beast! It can eat through batteries thou.. I recommend picking up the higher capacity / higher out put batteries. I think they are “40v Lithium ions” easier to spot as they are atleast 2x as thick thou..
Thanks, I’ll take a look at the Drifta site, I’ve always been impressed with the quality of Australian made goods. Is the Crashpad gear made in Australia or overseas?
In all honesty I don't know. If I am being a pragmatist I would guess it is a mix. With Drifta their "Stockton" line is Asian made but the rest of their branded gear is made here.
Set of Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. Like them so far, however pretty sure any new tires seem better when you first replace some worn out ones.
I'm on my 2nd set on a vehicle I daily drive, having also had a used set on a work truck. Current set has 25k on then and I still love them. I'd 100% purchase them again for my needs. I've used BFG KOs a lot in the past, along with some of the Cooper ATs (not the newest generation). Where the KOs seemed to get louder and wet road traction degraded noticeably after 20k, the Falkens have not. They are heavier than the KOs and Coopers I've used, so I would take that in to account if one was looking to put them on something where MPG is a concern.
My newest toy! Folks told me 60cc was too much, but I love it! Stumps on my property are now like putty in my hands.
Be careful stumping. Lots of dirt and grit in that wood. It can tear up chains and wear sprockets. Of my 19 Stihls, I enjoy the 60ish CC ones the best. Nice power to weight ratio. This was today's impulse buy.
My collection is growing. Decided today to make the decision to order myself the Junglas!! Cannot wait to see the beast!
They did a good job on this specimen. The blade is about as perfectly-centered as one can ask for, and it flicks like crazy. The carbon fiber FEELS amazing too. It's grippy enough, nicely milled to be comfortable...and yeh, it looks gorgeous. The backspacer/lanyard loop is a nice touch.
Dollar tree find. Love this stuff and was wondering why I couldn't find it anymore. Guess they're discontinuing it. So I bought a 12 pack.
Before my wife passed, this is something we agreed I should do... It’s a stock photo, but the real thing now sits in the building’s garage - brought it home today.
Thank you! I hadn’t ridden in 11 years, yet it came back fast. It’s a BIG bike - pretty near to 900 lbs, but fairly docile in the lowest riding mode - sort of a velvet-covered sledgehammer.
