I hated to drill in to the leather, but only way to make it sturdy. 20210325_112328.jpg 20210325_114433.jpg 20210325_114459.jpg 20210325_120203.jpg

Got bored today so added texture to the spine. I tried to do the HD on the screws but didn't turn out so well so I'll end up texturing those as well. I finally have coming what I need to etch the HD logo and name but unfortunately the logo won't have the words... Feeling sad about that. Oh, and have a Harley pin coming for the top of the molle. I'm wondering - this spine texture, won't it attract rust too easily

    Gibberish.. :p

Honestly I have no idea. I don't have issues with rust where I'm at, but nothing a little sanding won't cure. I can always add texture again.

I'm so pissed of right now.... All the work, money and time I put in to this thing and the etch had to screw up. Never had an etch go this bad, ever! I did the same things as I've always done, so no idea how this turned out so crappy. Uuuuggghhhhhh............ IMG_20210416_234432355.jpg IMG_20210416_234439192.jpg

    Ouch... That's a shame.
I'd ry to sand it out, on either stones or sanDpaper, assuming it''s not etched very deep.

Most parts are too deep to sand, I wish they weren't. Trying to think of a way to cover it up, but without etching a lot more, I'm not sure. I'll just have to deal with it but it's sad cause the sheath setup is pretty cool, imo.

Rock it man. Looks like a mean knife that someone has been using for years.

Well I'm trying a mustard patina, however it won't go with the texture on the spine so I'll probably patina that too. I added a few things to the sheath system though. Harley pin and biker chain lol. I have a Harley snap coming for it also to replace the one on the molle. And made a couple "Harley" tins as well. Welp, it's as good as it's gonna get. Still waiting on the snap to get here but other than that, it's done. I wish I could buy just the blade from esee so I can redo it but ah well. IMG_20210418_114632324.jpg IMG_20210418_114812401.jpg

I'm sure y'all are sick of seeing this thing but it's finally complete!! Got the snap in today and put on. Blued over the patina and lightly sanded to give a well used look. Going up for sale IMG_20210424_125109548.jpg IMG_20210424_130502409.jpg IMG_20210424_130516416.jpg IMG_20210424_130731810.jpg IMG_20210424_130758234.jpg IMG_20210424_131049805.jpg
