So do I get to play with it at the next bushcraft class?

These are beautiful knives and I'm sure they function better than they form. I should really attempt to obtain one some day.

Yes sir! Let me know when you plan on making another. Lately I've been thinking about getting up there again.

From the RAT Desert Bushcraft Class. I used these two knives (and a light machete) exclusively while instructing this class. James’s knife did a lot of good work. Great stuff! 4AE5C0A8-3A80-445D-B441-9DA72BC8934F.jpeg

Great shot Caleb. I really hate that I missed that class.

It was definitely a good one. Once I’m done editing the pics I’ll do a post about it.

I just got off the phone with James a few minutes ago, and my neck knife and Trailsman are ready to ship!!! I haven't been this excited about new sharp stuff coming in for quite some time...

Hey somebody remember to tag me when this thread goes up! I’m really interested in the use of the machete in an arid or semi arid environment.

I picked up this Nessmuck from a buddy in the knife community.

It's joining my current Knob Creek Forge collection. Not pictured, my ESEE Gibson Axe.

Now if I could just get a chopper made by Mr. G, I'd have about all of knife bases covered.

    Hint hint, nudge nudge @Strigidae

Ha ha! His chopper is an absolute beast. The leather sheath he made makes it super classy too. :)

No doubt. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think James has made a lot of choppers. I got to check one out at his shop several years ago that was essentially a really big JG3 with a swell near the pommel. It was something to behold.
