All done now. Just woke up from my mandatory nap lol. So far so good. I'm still super sensitive to light and my eyes feel rough but they said that should be gone by morning. Will update some more tomorrow.

Anyone from SE Michigan? I'm looking for free camping areas or places that I can go that are secluded. I'm being evicted, no money, job (not many places hiring or open due to the stupid virus), or help from family so kind of in a tight spot. TIA

Feeling good today. Had my follow-up appointment this morning. 20/15 vision. I have a haze but that's normal and will go away in the next few weeks. Otherwise I'm very happy with the results. Now I gotta buy some sunglasses that I like since I'll be wearing them daily.

Always wanted a TM Hunt Bird & Trout knife. He had two going up for raffle. Two knives with two winners. I purchased two spots and both hit. Lucky me!! I only need one so I want Todd to spin the wheel again for a different second spot winner. Super stoked about getting one especially with the curly maple.
My avatar perfectly shows my expression when I got the news.

    Try freecampsites.net

We used it for our Colorado trip and it was pretty useful.

    Good luck man.

Our oldest boy is starting Pre-K this year, we are doing the virtual option.

Wife decided late last year to quit teaching at the end of the school year after nine years. Wants to be a stay at home mom for a few years while the kids are young.

With all this Covid mess, that turned out to be a very good decision, this year will be very challenging for teachers and students/parents alike.

SIL is a single mother, so we are going to have her kids two or three days a week and wife will help teach them also.

Going to be an eventful year for sure.

Life will never be like it was in 2019.

    Dude that stinks.

If you don't mind me asking, what's holding you there? Could you head out toward somewhere with camping and start trying to figure something out or apply for assistance?

Nothing and no one is holding me here now. I've been trying to get a hold of assistant places but they're all automated with links that just give me the phone number that gives me back to the links. Complete runaround. I don't have the funds to travel either.

I understand the automated frustration. We've been dealing with that circle with DMV. It's a damn joke.

Keep your chin up. I'm sure you can find something.

WV got some big storms yesterday evening. Lots of wind and downed trees. My place is ok, but electric went off about 6:30pm. Estimated restoration time was Thurs 4pm. Now they just updated it to Wed at 5pm. I brought my freezer stuff to the office freezer. So all is good on my end.

We got some of the tail end of that yesterday evening. Little rain and some high altitude lightning. Not much by the way of ground strike.

I cant think of his forum name BUT we have at least 1 forum member in the wet side of where hurricane Laura will make landfall tonight.. There talking about having tidal effects up to 30 miles inland and “unsurvivable” storm surge..

Please keep those folks in your thoughts and prayers.. They will need it tonight..
