    Just gaging interest...

No plan, haven’t run it past the crew...

To be clear, it’d be an AR-10 LOWER...

Which type lower? There are two.

But then again for .308 the G3 platform is awesome...

I would be in. Though I don't frequent as often as I used to so hopefully someone can shoot me a PM if this goes through. Loved my AR15 lower I have from the last run!

AR's are so 90's. I say we do a run of Molotov cocktails. Last thing I need is another AR platform.

I’d be in if it’s an Aero Precision M5 lower.

Considering how much more difficult it is to find Parts lately I would prefer a matched upper and lower set

I like the way you think! I know Aero sells matched sets. Reason I said them above is because my current 20” 308 “AR-10“ is built from one of their M5 sets. I’ve been kick’n around the idea of building a second in 20” in 7mm-08 with the Vltor A5/Armalite style carbine buffer system for when my kids start hunting I can start them out on it.

I built an Aero AR10 Recently with all high end parts and it shoots amazing. Aero has been my go to receiver for several years. I have a drawer full of lowers in both AR15 and AR10 almost all Aeros. I need to pick up a few uppers and BCGs

    OR, hear me out....

Get Aero to make a special run of the M4E1 lowers and have the Skull and cross knives as the roll mark on the receiver..... Then you can build it in 6.5 Grendel..

Man I’ve got some many AR15’s both built out and as stripped lower. It’d take an AR10/LR308 to make me mess with it.

Grendel’s cool, but 6mm ARC perks my interest a bit more. But in all honesty after playing with alternative cartridges I like my small frames to stay with 5.56/223 or wildcats based of that case head(.300blk, 7mmRaptor etc). The 308 sized guns just have some good classic hunting rounds(7mm08, 243, 260) that have been on the shelves during shortages when all the popular military and boutique rounds are scarce.

Agreed. I only have 2 .223/5.56 AR’s... I really want an AR10/.308. Budget is tight right now. Still interested.
