New to the site, have a few Esee blades and they have grown to be my favorite. Three Esee 4 blades and two Candirus. Going to be etching soon!
Haha. Thanks. I dabble in guitar a bit. It's a side hobby. I also like jumping on trampolines from time to time.
This is BobbyRatTail. My joke EDC pic got me booted, but Shane was gracious enough to let me come back provided I keep my humor PG13. Get ready for more SAK and JG5 pics lol

Hello all. I'm Dave, living in the windy plains. I've been married 40 years. I grew up in the heavily wooded Appalachian mountains and spent a lot of time camping, backpacking, hiking, exploring, shooting, fishing, and 4-wheeling so deep if you got hung up they wouldn't find your bones for 100 years, if ever. It would have been nice to have ESEE knives back then but I'm making up for it now. I respect a company like ESEE who knows what they want to do, do it to the utmost, and stand behind their products and customers 100%. Hard not to love a company who does business in this fashion, "Old School" like when a handshake meant a man's reputation and honor were also squeezed into that grip. I'm the kind of guy who researches the hell out of something I'm looking for, finds the company and product I'll support then buys it once and expects it to last the rest of my life (and beyond.) My carry piece is 30 years old! Browsing the forums I ran across "The Scout Rifle" thread by Expat and read 16 pages before I tore myself away. Somewhere along the way I realized this forum was a place for me with a LOT of like minded people. I'm glad to be here.
