Bump for a great rod. I've read some good reviews of that one. It has some backbone in terms of a tenkara(ish) rod.
I get it! I kept waffling between this and an umlindi, and I got both. I'm using the umlindi more, so figured I'd sell this one since it won't be used. I mean, it IS used.... Don't settle for the pack you don't want... Because you're gonna end up getting that other pack anyways.
Same here...use my Umlindi all the time as the capacity is usually spot on (with or without any piggybacking). Countless taras utilized for undemanding small family excursions. Was eyeballing a Connor to fit in between for when I need a bit more capacity (than a Tara) and a bit more utility (than a stand alone top-loading Umlindi). Connor looks to fit the bill. Although I must say, a Tara + Tough Possum back pouch + small old-school Kifaru pod (on bottom) is - IMO - tough to beat.
