https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/202...pter-to-move-Into-the-Wild-bus/9411592609995/ I read the book and saw the movie but never understood the draw of the guy's story. Thousands of people every year do their own thing and don't end up dieing. Folks would be better off just going out and enjoying their lives instead of trying to live vicariously though others, especially focusing on a dead guy who stumbled along until his poor decisions caught up with him. Anyway, I'm glad that the bus is gone. Maybe it will prevent future injuries or deaths to the first responders that have to go pull people's heads out of their asses.
I'm real surprised they left it out there as long as they did. And blown away, that his personal items were still inside!
I've never understood the romanticism behind his story either. I guess he did what many people only dream of doing, but his poor decisions got him kille .
