Venison x Wagyu fat + onions with cheddar and potato rolls. YouTube “White Manna burgers” and you’ll find the same style I did them in. Place is phenomenal about 45 minutes from me.
Got eggs from my birds and jalapeños from my wife’s garden so we decided to do some spicy pickled eggs!
grown in a pot lol.. The actually garden hasn’t produced anything yet. She keeps a couple things potted at different times of year so we can have stuff often.
Brother-in-law Brought over his kids and bbq yesterday for lunch as a celebration for our deciding to not partake in silliness any more. There was enough leftover pulled pork and brisket to fill a 1qt ziploc. Today I ground it all up in a food processor and mixed it into 3Lbs of ground beef. I grilled it up (and started a huge fire because of how fatty and juicy they were...but saved the meat), put it in a sweet Hawaiian burger bun on top of a bed of real bacon crumbles and added some fresh tomatoes and some good sharp cheddar...it was pretty incredible.
Gave the wife the options.. fish and pasta, hot dogs and wings, burgers and leftover baked potatoes. And here we are LOL
Last night was Wagyu and venison burgers with grilled romaine and Bulleit 10. This morning was bacon and pancakes on the Blackstone with a tall Yeti full of Cafe Bustelo.. black, no sugar.
Froached Egg by Kylemeister posted Jun 8, 2020 at 5:54 PM I saw this on YouTube and had to give it a try. Froached Egg -- Poached, then fried, sitting atop toasted sourdough and bacon marmalade. Having a sous vide machine makes this pretty easy, but be prepared for the random egg white to disassemble itself when breaking the egg open. I suspect the traditional poaching method would work, but this does make for a nice, uniform shape & size for frying. What he calls a bacon marmalade is essentially candied bacon bits. Pretty delightful, but definitely best when served warm.
Testify brother. This is all kinds of wicked. I usually like a little more of the runny yolk with the full-on poached egg. This was a little lacking in the yolk department, but that sacrifice means that nice fried egg crispiness on the outside.
