I wasn’t really sure how to title this but my question is how much basic bushcraft skill do I need to have on arrival at an Advanced Bushcraft class? I know a few things but I’m definitely a novice and I don’t want to be that guy, holding a class back because I don’t have a solid enough foundation to keep up.

Tagged for a proper response, but good on you for not wanting to be "that guy". Every gun class I ever took had someone like that.

You will be fine. Class goes from very basic to advanced skills.

The main reason it is called "Advanced Bushcraft" is because we used to do a one day bushcraft class that was called "basic". Like Jeff said no experience is necessary.

The fact that you don't want to be "that guy" is enough to get you through. Bushcraft skills can be picked up in a couple of days. Need determination, that's it.
