Like every good American, I hate China and I love Black Rifle Coffee Company.

I stumbled onto the best brew they make during a recent bartering session amidst this Great Unpleasantness. It fuels knife sharpening, bullet loading, and wood splitting. I have also personally seen it defeat the coronavirus.

This is real coffee. Murdered Out. It's like a .50 cal Hawkin--you can't go no better.

If you're going to mess it up with milk or cream or sugar or ghee or butter or salt or any other contaminant, just take your man bun sportin', Lululemon wearing butt down to Starbucks and leave this for the rest of us.

I keep meaning to try some of theirs, I’m such a dyed in the wool Community Brand coffee dark roast drinker I hardly branch out. I definitely agree with you that coffee should be drank strong and black, unless you’re a woman then go ahead and fru-fru it up.

Haha, I have had some black rifle that was pretty good but lately it has been Independence Coffee Co. out of Texas, either their Jackhammer or Jet Fuel dark roasts, whole bean ground by hand in my German made Zassenhaus beechwood grinder with carbon steel burrs. Grind it super fine and then make coffee in my 6 cup Moka pot, it looks like used diesel motor oil it is so dark when I pour it. It is super strong, but has almost no grittyness, I attribute that the the Zassenhaus's very consistent grind.

This is the same sentiment I have for people who mix good bourbon with coke, or anything else for that matter.

We have a local guy who roasts coffee. His Espresso roast will curl your toenails, even brewed in a drip machine.

The BRC stuff is pretty good too. Guy I work with gets some regularly and lets me pilfer his stash because we're the only ones who like coffee like real women. Black and bitter....

We have guys who brew light brown water. You can seriously see the bottom of an 8oz Solo coffee cup through it. It's depressing....

Yeah I hate that. It’s essentially tea but steeped with coffee beans. I don’t get it.
Yet those are the same people that say “Oh, I really need my coffee!” There’s hardly any actual coffee in it. How could it possibly do anything to wake them up?

A cup of coffee needs to be able to stand its ground in a fight with a plate of bacon & eggs. That light see through stuff doesn't stand a chance.

If you don't have to chew it, it's it really coffee?

I get my coffee down by the bridge from an odd dude who wears tights and flip flops. He roasts some great **** though (except his espresso roast if you ask me). Do you think 20# a week is too much???

I have BRC AK-47 beans in my machine. Bit hard to get in this neck of the woods, so I buy it direct from them and have it shipped. Still worth it. A straight shot with a touch of sugar. Very nice.

What kind of diver are you? Is that like a military thing? Recreational, what?

Started civilian, went military, then commercial. Have done some with my department when they needed some specialist help but otherwise I don’t dive over here now. Too sharkey.

I took the advice and ordered a bag of the Murdered Out. Definitely worth the recommendation, even if it's more expensive than my normal Joe. I might have to begin exploring this world of coffee, and leave my Chase & Sanborn and Cafe Bustelo behind.

Cafe Bustelo is great, though. Especially in a Bialetti on the stovetop.

I grabbed a commercial Bunn coffee maker from a business that was closing. It's a great way to make a pot, plus the parts are easily found.

The owner of BRCC was on last week's Meateater Podcast.

I'm not picky on my coffee as long as it's strong and black, but the BRCC stuff I'ved tried has been good.
