    An American Legend.

    I can still recall where I was the first time I heard a John Prine song. Driving down Westinghouse Blvd in Charlotte, NC, 1997.

    It was like hearing music for the first time. It was Souvenirs.

    Man I hated to hear this.....just looking at John Prine it's hard to believe the Covid got him and NOT all the other things he'd done in his life....RIP ......love his music!

    I’ve seen Prine several times live. An awesome stage presence. Definitely one of my favorite musicians. A musician who cut his own path thru the industry. Here’s one of my favorites.

    He was great. Like Warren Zevon. If Warren would have died today from Mesothelioma, they would have said Covid got him.

    Prine could write and sing. He wasn't pretty to look at though.
