    43% Jack is good.
I love strong alcohol. Our home made Rakia is usually around 50%, in school we often drank it at around 65-70% for better and faster results :D

Made a few gallons of “Scoundrels’ Stew” (a collection of stuff I throw together), that should last the two of us a couple of weeks. Had some Merlot to go with it.

Appropriate titled beer for the times, Only Hell Can Save Us Now double dry hopped milkshake IPA brewed by Dorchester Brewing Boston Mass. For Abomination Brewing Co., distributed by 12%. Mild fresh cut grass and floral aroma. There is so much going on in the flavor, tropical fruit, guava and a tart berry up front going to a slightly bitter grassy floral taste. There is some of that citrus pith dryness but it is held back by the sweet from the vanilla and lactose. At the end I am left with the passion fruit and raspberry hints. Good but not the best from Abomination, maybe leave out all the fruit additions and let the hops shine more.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. And cleaning up a few bottles from the liquor cabinet that only had a sip left.

Another apropos title for the times, Are We Having Fun Yet? Double dry hopped party pale ale brewed and canned for Hoof Hearted Brewing by Great South Bay Brewery in Bay Shore NY.
Aroma is a mild citrus, orange blossom came to mind with the first whiff. Mouthfeel is above average by a good bit, silky smooth, light, creamy, a touch of that oily feel. Flavor starts a little citrusy then I get that tropical fruit note, maybe passion fruit. Finishes a little pithy dry with that fresh cut grass note and some floral hints. SO easy to drink and a very unique flavor, I'm having fun now!

Roads? Where We're Going We Don't Need Roads DIPA brewed and canned for Hoof Hearted Brewing by Great South Bay Brewery in Bay Shore NY. A sweet citrus aroma with a hint of bread. Hop gravy, so good, makes me stutter. There is a hint of lemonade, ripe orange akin to a cream sickle. I get some pineapple, melon, and some floral notes. Ends with a tingly orange pith but not overly dry pith, just gets better and better as it warms, smooth schit . This is a hop bomb, a fresh hop bomb, go get some if you can, unless you are headed to where there are no roads which isn't a bad idea right now.

I may wind up with the shakes but I'm going to try very hard to only drink water tonight. I need to cut back on my calorie intake and the beer I've been drinking recently isn't helping.

If I find it at the same price, I will get more.
It is not very popular here and was sitting on a back shelf with a great discount at the local Lidl store. We have a second one in town, I need to check it out.

Thank you! A lot of the tomatoes and cheese here are home produced and luckily some very tasty veggies can be found in the stores.

I put a bit of basil and oregano, along with some olive oil on them. This combo can drink a lot of vodka.

The stuff in the white can is antartic krill meat with cream and garlic. Mighty tasty on a piece of bread.

You probably get better vodka than we do here but I really like Tito's. I'm gonna probably have a glass around the fire pit (old washer drum) tonight.

I really like these ones :

    3217_4.png pqt-ozer-premium.jpg

The first one is Polish, with bison herb flavour and the second one is pure Russian vodka.
Both are great in taste and quality and the price is around 15$ per litre.
Indeed there is a lot of Vodka to choose from here, especially in Russian food stores.

The russian one would be Pyat Ozer, or something similar with latin letters.
