Did get a good deal or bad deal esee 4

    I am trying to authenticate a esee 4 I gave $52 for it and want to know if it is good or bad deal. Serial number is 46166

    I haven't heard of any ESEE 4's being faked. The only fakes I have heard of have been with the Izula... I'm sure others could add more and let you know about this particular knife however...

    It is a good deal! There are no counterfeits made from the 4.

    @Patrick Rollins put out a really good video on testing ESEE knives. If you follow his methods and it snaps, you gotcha a genuwine awthentic ESEE! ;)

    If you are happy with it, you got a good deal. I'd be happy with it, because that's a great deal.
    I just bought a new one for $90.
    Is the paint stripped under the handle scales?
