My 6 is my favorite because it was my first Esee even though my Laser Stike is getting used and carried more lately.
Currently my favorite is my Hest DPX original, it does ALMOST everything I ask, except for heavy chopping. I've had my eye on a Junglas for just that.
ESEE 4HM as it was on my hip last archery elk season here in Idaho. I was digging out a broad head that was stuck in a log. Yes, I missed.
4hm is my go to blade. Just purchased the 6hm, so I'm excited to give it a swing. Heavily used Izula II & Candiru, unfortunately not in this pic.
My favorite is my Western Bowie. It's a bit big for some uses but my father-in-law used it during his tours in Vietnam. Thanks for the chance to win one of your knives!
The 6hm GB narrowly edges out the JG5 for my favorite. The size is great for the woods. The handle is extremely comfortable, even after long use. The spine is extremely useful; making fine tinder, striking a ferro rod, etc. Also, it's just a really good looking knife.
Absolutely love my 6. EDC is an Avispa, ALWAYS on my side! Had the opportunity to get the matching junglas when I got my 6, wish I would have! I will add one to my kit, win, barter or buy; I'll get one eventually!! Love my Esse products!
I love my Esee 3 DT because it goes so Well with my travel book. It has seen very little use, i only use this one for cutting some sausage or something as aperitive with a glass of wine when i meet new people on my voyages.... It hasn't seen any hard use but it has seen already a nice part of the world....
My most recent addition but not necessarily my favorite. I love all things ESEE. I think each product has its own place and it's own use.
Wow, that is a hard question. I have to say my fav EDC is since December a rotation of Case mini-trappers. Fits my hand perfectly and, after a mod to the spey blade to make it more like a SAK blade works great. However, if I could only have one knife with me at any time for any task it would have to be my ESEE 6. Its the old style handle with a TKC replacement scales and I added a piece of scrap kydex to both sides and it fits my hand like a glove. Not too big of a blade to still be useable for small tasks but a big enough blade to do 99% of the things I need a knife to do. Plus the sheath (which is shifted to be left handed of course) has a pouch with needed goodies including a SAK Hercules, several fire starting methods and a very very basic first aid kit. If I could only have one knife in hand the 6 would be it.
My trusty Camp Lore PR4. The size is great, perfect for hiking and tough enough to handle all my camping needs.
