Same problem I had with a friend’s 43. I like the 26/27, but like you I wear 2x gloves. I’m one of those rare freaks of nature that a gen 3 G20/21 fits perfectly and l
Run any CCI Stingers through it yet?

Going to be doing a 23 9mm conversion, but I need some G19 factory magazines.

If anyone has some to pass on, just message me :)

Strig I agree. My practice load is a 200 grain cast at 1100 FPS. My woods load is same bullet at 1260 FPS out of a six inch barrel. The G 40 is much easier to work than the G 29/20.

So much drool worthiness!!!! I LOVE my 20

I do really well with it, but it definitely isn’t forgiving with careless technique like 40sw

Come on man I want a G40 bad enough and you had to post this:D

I’m thinking about sending my 20’s slide off for milling in the next year and getting a Leupold DP Pro. I wonder if that setup with a 6” aftermarket barrel would give the same results as a G40.

MG, I had a Gen. 3 model 20 and installed a Wolff 6” barrel and had a hard time getting a 200 grain bullet over 1200 FPS. My accuracy was also so-so, I switched to a KKM barrel and significantly increased my velocity with the same load. KKM’s have a very tight (in comparison) chamber but give great accuracy and velocity for me.

10 mm Glock is on the top of my list for a bear gun. My next one will be a 10 mm Glock or a .357 wheel gun.

Buying two guns is better than buying one. A fella needs options.

15+1 rounds of 10mm is a lot of smiles per trigger pull from a semi auto.

True, but not here  However if I get a hunting license next year, I can have guns on that licence, not for carrying outside of the hunt though. So a 10 mm Glock for CCW and a revolver for a hunting gun might be perfect.

Yes, and for me a pistol is easier to shoot.
The only issue with 10 mm auto is that it is not very popular here and therefore the choice of ammo is rather poor, with most of them being just .a hotter 40SW in terms of Joules, but nowhere near a good punching 10mm.

That’s how it was here for quite some time, it started to get better a few years ago with availability of some more full power loadings.

have any of you use targetsportsusa ? I joined there membership program for $99 for a year. there prices are normally good. I have been buying from them for a wile now. But the membership prices are even better. I just got another 2k rounds of 9 and just on membership saved over $30. So I went a step further. I got 6 of my buddies to go in with me. So I split it up with everyone so it was only like $15 a head we all use the same account and the savings is even better now.
now for the best part and my main reason for using them. I live in MA although not against our laws. For some reason it’s frowned upon and most people stay away and want nothing to do with shipping ammo to ma. Our stores are a complete rip off on ammo. I’m all about supporting local and I normally do no matter the price. But the amount of ammo I go threw and buy is way more then the average. I have a shooting range ant my house 440 yards and I do matches every week. Just for reference.
    Got off track
So the best part is they ship in an unmarked box to MA and they are somewhat loca only being an hour away in CT and I can’t even buy in CT anymore because of there Hun laws that changed a few years back. So I can order online and buy from ct and a prime membership is free shipping on anything you buy. But I can’t walk the 20 min down the road over the boarder and buy ammo from a store.......THATS OUR GREAT GUN LAWS FOR YEAH

I have a 43X but carry with shield arms 15 round steel mags... my duty guns are a 17 and 26 the 43x is my favorite of the 3 as far as shootability and comfort the real game changer with that gun is the shield arms mags you have a double stack capacity in single stack size.
