LOL. yes it is. I broke the tip and had Andy fix it the only way he could. He still gave me a replacement under warranty. However this was one my first Fiddleback and a favorite knife so I wanted it back. Actually functions better now

Not gonna lie. I like it more with that blunted tip. I wonder if he would grind one down if requested.

I really wasnt sure about its looks but then I played with one. Its unbelievably light and super fast . Didnt look comfortable in the had but surprisingly it is. I carry it everywhere every day no matter what I'm carrying.. You forget that it's there!

For those of you who don't frequent th' other forum (or my 'gram):

This belt and kiln finish AuK5 is built on 0.130" tapered-tang AEB-L with azobe scales and a hidden lanyard hole. Similar dimensions to the BK-62, but with a bit more swell in the belly and longer ricasso.

I checked out that model at a gun show recently... I absolutely love it! The jimpng close to the tip seems awesome for skinning and field dressing. Of course, I went there to sell some things and not buy. That vendor will be at another show in 2 weeks and seeing as I have a few things to sell or trade, I might not be able to resist. What is the name of that model of knife?

You can get it with a g10 or a Dymondwood handle
    Highly recommend
Jimping close to the tip is great for skinning.
I’m a fan of the horizontal sheath also let me carry in some different ways. I carry my gun at 3-4 and this knife at 2-3 oclock

While my Strider SnG is getting the once over at the Strider spa, I picked these up to play with.
Bought the Kershaw Emerson CQC-8 (and a CQC-3 which I gave to my brother) here on the forum. Nice weight, smooth action, good fit and finish and I won't cry if it gets broken, lost or stolen. I don't like the Emerson Wave, so Mr. Dremmel helped me to take off that feature.
I had a CQC-4 some time ago which I thought was a terrible knife, but this one has surprised me.
The Gerber Strongarm I got in trade for a some Glock and AR mags, but it hasn't been out of the house yet. Nice feel and should do well in multiple roles.
