This was round two for a coffee outing with the pups. The sun came out for the first time in almost two weeks, and it felt good. This brew event was with my solo stove. Better than my open fire, but not as good as my backpacking mini stove (next outing). As you know, Creed and Woody always have a good time. This time I used my custom knife that I had my buddy Michael Presnell make for me. It was to be similar to the Marbles Woodcraft but with birch bark and a micarta pommel. Man he killed it. you'd swear we had a wild hog problem behind the house. Creed always keeping an eye out for those man eating squirrels. My Presnell Woodcraft once the solo stoves take off, it flames like a gas stove burner. coffee time. DO NOT use an aluminum cup like this one. you might as well hold and drink from the hot pot. Found us a place in the sun. Woody didn't have a padded seat cushion so he used my leg instead. Thanks, Bob

great looking dogs! makes me miss my golden retriever...he died of old age 2 years ago. he was well fed...one time a neighbor's kid saw him and yelled at her mom, "look ma. it's a lion!"
