From someone who owns two 3DAP packs from Mystery Ranch, I would suggest going with one of their overseas packs. I love the 3DAP but it's heavy and expensive. Their overseas packs are now my go-to more than the USA 3DAP. Now, if you're looking for a pack you can tow a car with, throw fully loaded off the side of a cliff or drag it behind tractor plowing a field and not worry about it, then the 3DAP is the way to go. I have no intentions of getting rid of mine but I wouldn't buy it again.

I agree @Jeff Randall these are bomb proof! I am needing one of those type bags currently. Ill be coming to my next class in a few months and ill explain :)

I have also looked at the offshore MR packs and plan to pick up one of the Scree or the Coulee model packs you previously suggested. But that's a few months down the road.

    Found one!
