I haven't had the opportunity to stretch the 6.5 out too far yet (holidays, family in town, blah blah blah) but I've been able to put my 10" plate down to 340yds in my hay field. Using the tank trap as my barricade, I was hitting the 10" plate every time with consistent 9mph winds with gusts up to 15-17mph.

I know this isn't even starting to test the 6.5 and it's not even the shortest distance show in my previous PRS matches, but it's been a good introduction to it.

I've been using the Magneeto Speed for a couple years, works pretty good.

@dunefoo I've thought about it a lot but the LabRadar offers more for what I need. I can use it for pistols, rifles, and archery!

thanks much. The 700 isn’t mine but it lives in my safe, so close enough!

Dropped down to the desert to check my rifle zero. I placed my steel plate at 841 yards. This plate is 10 inches wide and 19 inches long.

Took up a firing position on a nearby hill. Target is slightly high of center photo.

Set up the old Remington 700 in .308 and checked my environmental's. The kestrel crunched the numbers and I went to work. Range was verified by my Leica 2000-B rangefinder.

My 168 grain A- Max bullets impacted slightly high on target.

5 shot's came out a little over MOA but it verified my zero so I was happy. Great day in the desert!
