    Not sure, the last time I used that axe I was a teenager. My father just brought it over to my home a few months ago.

    Ebay snag, Plum Rockaway. Cleaning it up, making a collar and sheath. Should make a fantastic camp axe.

    Adding linseed oil. Put crosshatching at base of handle for positive grip.

    Not a Rockaway, but it's a nice round lug Jersey. A lot of folks get the Plumb Rockaway and round lug Jersey confused, though, so you're not alone there. :)

    I stand corrected. The seller listed it as a Rockaway. Out of curiosity, I looked at the different profiles, still learning, the round lug threw me off. Pretty solid. I have to amazon some files, the local ones just dont bite in--trying to get edge geometry at 25 degrees. So far, its been a fun adventure and learning as I go. Im going to clean up and hang the Legitimus bit after I finish this one.
