    It’s been a good year. First Busse (Mean Street), first OTF (Benchmade Phaeton), first wheelgun (Ruger Security Six, 1978, .357 LNIB), and first S&W (686-6 Plus, CT grips, wheelgun #2). I’m starting to think this forum may be a bad influence. My mom would not approve of any of these purchases, save the Busse, unless she saw the price tag.

    The Battle Rat was king for ever for me but the Basic 10 does light machete type work better and I seem to do more of that than chopping hard woods lately and the 10 is great for green wood and light vegetation really well. Both are pretty equal batoning kindling for wood stove so that’s a wash there. The 10 feels more neutral and lively in the hand. Love both.

    That regulator is one sick bad mamma jamma!!!! I passed on it but only cuz I have to many now. Trying to be smarter in my Middle Ages. Lol. Congrats Andy. That’s a sick knife.
