    Hi,
I think the title says it all. It’s for my Case canoe. Knives Ship Free has one, but looks like it would be bulky in the pocket.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you have any local cobbler/shoe repair, or leather workers in your area? I've had cobbler make non shoe related things for me in the past. Did a damn fine job too.

That’s a great thought! Unfortunately he has closed up shop. He made a few things for me years ago. There’s one other still in business but won’t take on anything other then shoe, boot or purse work. I’ve even tried to get one of his guys to do stuff on the side with no luck.

The closest thing I've seen comes from DLT, they have 3 sizes, smallest might do but looks like access may not be great, might be able to modify it by carefully cutting away to sort of notch the leather. size seems to be about right for a 3.5 ish slippy.

Mud- I didn’t think about the leather workers here. I’ve reached out to the guy in the link you provided and others on Etsy with no luck.

    Thanks!

I contacted DLT. He said that slip won’t work and he doesn’t have what I’m looking for.

dang that sucks! I'd give it a go if I could, but got too much on my plate right now.

Maybe make one yourself? Since it's looking like your out of options. Kinda surprised Taleo of Knives couldn't do it.

The trick to it, with these kind of projects- is thin leather. You wouldn't want 8oz leather, heck even 6oz seems too thick. Or may a combo, 6-7oz back, for the pocket clip, and something extra thin in front.

Guys, thanks for all your input and suggestions. You all rock!

I’m working with John at Badger Claw Leatherworks.

I’ll post pictures once I have it.
