I got so caught up in doing my research that I mixed up the 4.7 , with the 4.1 and 5.1 gen 1+2
Still learning........................Probably started a lot of head scratching.
    Thanks for catching that.

Its all good, with Survive you can get lost. Not so much with the models but in their never ending offerings between pre-orders, pre-sales, seconds, ugly betty's, etc. Appears they are slowly working out of the madness (much to customer complaints), but the knives are a good value when you finally secure one. I picked up a 5.0 before they closed that model out and after a 3 year wait (yes you heard that correctly, lol) I received my second gen 4.1. The 3.5 I ordered was part of their early 2015 starter campaign and looks like it might finally get wrapped up by the years end. Cancelled out on my 5.1 second gen just due to no foreseeable date and giving the ordered SK6 a bit more time to see what happens with that by the end of the year. Many folks that have owned the 4.7 seem to love it and swear it's their favorite model, sort of a jack of all trades. I have an unused 4.7 CFV model but may decide to gift it to the son when he finishes training at Ft. Benning.
