The Pocketboy is awesome - I will get one next month and it will live in my pack with the Esee 6.
The 240 will be used for camping and the 170 for hiking.

I love my Pocketboy. It has become my favorite saw. I have a couple of larger pack saws, but I don't really ever cut wood bigger than the diameter of my shin, and the Pocketboy is perfectly sufficient for that. Takes up way less space in the pack/pocket, too.

It is a great tool for sure!
I generally try to cut wood with a maximum diameter roughly 1/2 of the length of the blade, but the Silkys are so good, that they cut larger stuff with ease.

I always thought the laplander was an awesome saw until I tried a Silky.

Got the saw in today and it is clearly labeled as the 170/8 which is sold here as 170/ Course teeth.

They are great indestructable axes. I use the large splitting one for 15 years and it is still going strong.
The X7 sharpened like a knife, very fast and easy.
