If i was not going to be able to extract salt from the sea, I'd have to take the 3 lb block of salt. I'd take a saw-edged E-tool, (Condor or Cold steel customzied) one of Chief Aj's slingbows, 6 of the 9 arrows featuring Zwickie Judohead blunks and flu flu fletching. I'd take the 12x12 tarp, the 2 person hammock, the BIG roll of duct tape, the snarewire, the fishing kit, the modified Crunch tool, the 5 qt skillet with lid (Amazon). If i didn't have to take the salt, I'd either take the 2 lb ration of pemmican or the sleeping bag, depending upon climate and terrain.
But that’s what happens when you watch every episode of alone.... while being alone.... lol maybe too harsh
Exactly the same thoughts I had when he started posting this morning. We love opinions around here but to be a new member and make your first four posts in such a manner tells me you want last long with this group. A little hat-in-hand attitude goes a long way when you're a new member.
Agreed but most people, especially the inexperienced, tend to start out boastful to make people believe they know what they are talking about. This is my experience with 99% of the population. Kinda like the one marine on the one season of alone in Canada. He was bragging and cock of the walk. Boasting no body was gonna knock him out. If a bear showed up he would knock him out. Then before the sun set day one he was out lol. I do love the survival experts TV makes. I’m not as good as most but I’m willing to listen and I’ve already survived life threatening events (almost didn’t) but more importantly I test skills as I’m able.
well, he's welcome to sign back up and introduce himself and become part of the group. Again, the problem I had with it is he machine gunned 4 posts back to back with every one being expert in nature without anyone even knowing him here.
I've been a part of the ESEE forums for about 7 years now and I still dont dont post like I know what I'm talking about...(because I dont)
Well, that makes all of us, especially me. Maybe I screwed up with the guy. Maybe he was the smartest person to ever join our forum.
He definitely seemed knowledgeable, but it was the way he presented the knowledge that stood out more than the knowledge itself...
