....the opposite here.... coldest weekend in Sydney for several years, snow on the mountains just to the west so the wind whipping off that made it feel colder again....my two fury miscreants we difficult to dislodge from under a blanket in the house..!!

So the better question is how many other relatives where you able to identify from that discovery ?

at my house the last few days didn't get above 13degsC with windchill dragging that down. In the mountains to the west the daytime temps topped out around 2.1DegsC Sydney is coastal so we are not use to that ! Where I grew up daytime temps under 10DegsC are normal in winter with snow falling on the range to the east. Still nothing like the cold you get in the US !

It’s all about what you’re used to.
What are the high temps like in the summer?

We were 98 degrees F today, with humidity over 50%. Heat index was about 116 degrees.

We could hit 100 actual temp tomorrow.

It’s been a mild summer overall, however.

We normally get a week around 45DegsC over summer, sometimes longer. Normally hovers in the mid-30s and humid at my place.

Just from the DNA, no one other than who I already thought was, except all the new family that commented on my brothers post about me. I knew there was a lot anyway, but when they're all commenting and welcoming me to the family.... Overwhelming would be an understatement. Definitely in a good way though. At least 20 sent me a friend request that day. I'm used to only having a sister besides my kids.

Is there anything tastier than a sandwich made with ham slices, mayo, tomato slice, and a splash of hot sauce? Breakfast of champions, right there.

Bacon instead of ham. Or added to. Everything is better with bacon.

Bacon plus ham plus hot sauce. Lose the other condiments (typing that while well aware that I'm probably the only one here who doesn't like mustard, mayo or ketchup...).

....I had never heard of him till this, a pity as what I saw looks like he makes a decent blade. Is it a "pre-paid order scheme" ie: taking money upfront and not delivering ?

yup, that sums it up...a couple of people also posted that they sent him knives and axes so he can make sheaths for them but not only did he not make them he's refusing to send the knives and axes back to the owners.

It was a few years back but I had a crappy experience with him, had agreed on a price and he said he would start (no money exchanged at that point) then a while later (months to a year, can't remember) he says the blade is nearly done and requests payment, that was around new years, I paid. He says it will be on it's way in a week, well I didn't get the blade until around may of that year after lots of questions on where my blade was. He did send a hatchet he had restored with the knife at no extra costs so I figured that made up for the delay... however the knife wasn't exactly what we had discussed and I felt that he had taken shortcuts to finish it. I never brought this up because I was happy to just have the knife in my possession, it definitely killed my mood on the knife alittle bit though and I ended up selling it a month or two later (for the same price I paid, i could have doubled my money on it as other people were doing at that time with his blades). So unfortunately none of this is suprising to me, I do remember him posting new projects in his progress threads after I had given him money and members getting those knives before i got mine, but those where always mods or big time popular members that would jump to his defense if someone brought up his shady practices. I got off that forum after I witnessed how the mods treated FortyTwoBlades and his paid for vendor subfourm there.

Id prefer we not spend a lot of time talking bad about another forum if this is heading that way. No harm done but we all have our reasons for being here or leaving here same as anyplace.

I do appreciate the heads up for a potential harm to our folks here. Ive always liked the look of his blades.
