The coin in the center is the Ranger coin I've carried since 1990 after coming back from Operation Just Cause. It has the date of the invasion engraved on the back and it replaced the same coin, but with my Ranger School class number on it. That coin, along with my Ranger Handbook, are in storage.
This December is the 30th anniversary of OJC and there are a number of patches and coins being made to celebrate that milestone. The coin on the right, was given to me by Ranger Leroy Petry (MOH) when I met him in 2015. We were introduced by a mutual Ranger buddy and to say I was surprised when he handed me (with his bionic hand) one of his MOH coins would be the understatement of a lifetime. We had served in the same company, albeit a dozen years apart.
I carry that one at work.

I have received a number of pretty cool coins over the years. Most of my coolest ones are floating around the house somewhere but of the ones I did find I always thought these were pretty cool :)

I was even lucky enough to receive a T wall shaped coin. Not exaggerating. It weighs at least a pound if not more.

IMG_20190630_113743-01.jpeg I got this when I had my last day at the Air Base where I used to work. Pretty proud of this one too :)

It's from the Danish Fighter Wing Skrydstrup Aircraft Maintenance Squadron :) I'll dig up a picture of the other side.
Does he have a Danish challenge coin?

He doesn't. But he spent his career as a hydraulic maintenance tech on the F-16 with 192nd fighter wing in Virginia. he retired when they retired his F-16's and closed the base he was stationed a . I'm assuming his challenge coin has a different opposite side, but it's in a shadow box so I cant look at the opposite side right now

    Oh, nice!
His coin will probably have an American flag swirling around the edge, where mine has a Danish, as can be seen in this picture :)
