That is actually a good deal. Andy's been looking for one so hopefully he will jump on it. That thing could carry a lot of spare Land Rover and Jeep parts into the outback. Not sure if Austria is on USG's approved end user list though.

They've got some super cool stuff for sale on that site. There's an old Navy fighter jet on there too lol. That could be @Expat 's escort vehicle.

Seems to me like all you'd have to do is file the points and fire it up.

I see the potential here.... I could add a long range tank....in fairness just a bunch of Jerry Cans strapped into the back with a fuel line I move from can to can as they run out (yes I have driven a Land ROVER fueled just like this), I could make a business of dropping off spare parts with a low altitude parachute extraction system (or some garbage bags and well used 550 cord) to Jeep owned stranded in remote hard country areas (Walmart car parks, Waffle House, KFC etc)..... :D

If it is going to replace The Jet we will have to line the inside with red velour floors and walls and emply a proper cleaning service....I am sick of the funk stains left in there but who I will describe here only as "other users"....and there was that time DJ forgot a snake....

@Strigidae Year of the plane means nothing to me . How many cool upgrades it had since then and how much has been replaced (usually a lot) is the important thing to me :) I have even stepped foot in a H model once and was kind of afraid I was going to catch Tetanus... Now the snazzy J models I am a BIG fan! I don’t worry about them falling out of the sky the sometimes 50- 100 times a day I’m use to :)

@Bcamos OH NO! I’ve been in a couple of planes with “issues” and while we didn’t die... Having to repeatedly stuff rags in the cracks to keep up the cabin pressure so we didn’t need oxygen masks.. Gives you a whole new view of flying....

Andy wouldn’t know what to do with that. He’d probably have lockers and a roof rack installed within a week.

Calls his mechanic "hey mate, now that the Toyota is finished I'll be dropping my new toy off on Monday. Crikey, I hope your yard will hold the thing. May have to have your bruce move some of the kangaroos out to the billabong".

Mechanic- " No worries cunnt, my sheila and the ankle biter are having a piss up out in the woop woop so I was just going to run around here nuddy, drinking Fosters and throw some snags on the barbie so you can drop the new ride off anytime. Mate".

(I'll admit that my Australian is a little rusty as it's been many years since I've seen either Crocodile Dundee or a Super Bowl commercial so I did have to seek the help of a Australian language app)
