Terrible quality pic, but this is my true EDC Izzy. If I've got pants on, this knife is in my pocket. It doesn't show much, but this thing has some miles on it- I've opened bottles, poked, prodded, stabbed, pried, batoned, and cut with this knife for over a year now. It's my go-to "well, this might just kill my folder" pocket knife.

I also have a buddy who is exceptionally hard on his stuff (had this knife for a week while his own was being shipped and chipped the tip and gouged the coating without even really using it because he felt bad abusing my knife) who's working in a coal mine this summer. If we're lucky, I'll get some pix of a truly brutalized Izula to share with y'all in the coming months.

As promised, a fresh pic my buddy sent me of his Izzy. This knife was purchased brand new less than a month ago, and it's already opened cans, been used as a screwdriver, pried, and who knows what else.

Has anyone tried to put an Izula in a Maxpedition Fatty ?

I am wondering if it will fit vertically (I am sure it will fit diagonal), as I am thinking of adding it in my kit as a backup blade.

    Thanks!

If the Fatty is the black color one in your other thread I believe the Izula will fit. Mine fits in an ammo pouch sized for AR 5.56mm rifle magazines... Edit: my Izula is 17 centimeters tall from tip to end of haft.

Thanks! Yes -it is the black pouch. It is 7'' in height, which is around 17.78 cm, so the Izula should be able to fit fine.
The little pocket with the net on the front of the Fatty could also hold it.

Yeah, it was consistently in my pocket or on my belt for a couple years. I sprung for the Izzy 2 earlier this year just because I really like the black oxide.

Antyboi has been getting some staple pulling, sandpaper cutting, boot toe tap prying, bottle opening use recently, so I figured I would take a candid pic in the office.
