Primitive hunting or at least how to make the equipment for it. Primitive bow and arrows. Spears and the various types for certain hunting situations. Since these types of hunting tools require a short distance then one needs to learn the tricks of stalking and tracking or just the best areas to look at certain times of the day.
Maybe a ladies only field survival? Seems like theres only guys in that class and maybe the women are intimidated by it? Taught by Wendy and specific for female survival.
The primitive hunting one is a great idea. I am not sure you can teach the skills involved in hunting (that takes time and practice) but making the tools and some basics around wind/scent/general game behaviours etc could be covered in a few days and would make a great basis people could take away. If you have any land (parkland/national parks/reserves etc) you can practice the most important of hunting skills (getting close to game) without a weapon and without upsetting the children (some of whom may be in their 30s) . As a young'n I use to stalk Kangaroos at a couple of places close by town, if you can move yourself in among a mob of 'roos deer are a bit of a breeze !!
Intro to Ninja! Escape and Evasion type class that teaches Active evasion/survival skills as well as the opposite side of how to track someone. Wild edibles/Herbal Meds A class that involves "Guy Stuff" like Shooting, Medical, Survival, Search and Rescue, Rappelling, Outdoor cooking, Hunting, Tracking, Map and Compass, Log PT, ie, a combo of all types of RAT classes. This sounds more like a 3 week vacation.
Theyve done some tracking classes before and i thought they were awesome. Honestly helped me with hunting deer. Dont remember if they are on the 2019 schedule or not.
I dont think i saw it on the list i was looking at butni may ve wrong, the closest thing i remember reading was the wilderness medicine class.
“Cooking @Expat/ body disposable with camp chef, @bearthedog Description would have to be uniquely written. I’d be more than happy to provide the seasoning. Somebody pass some more Expat, I’m famished.
