On the lighter side - -Skyhook attachment -One of those springloaded boxing gloves in a box - A little more serious Flip down compass holder for hands free orienteering (edit-I see that Bushie and I are on the same page-hes just faster)
2 notes,#1 make your "plates" of the heaviest grade of abs or carbon fiber you can get (hopefully avoiding cracking issues from heavy or lopsided loading, Aie a loaded Glock on one edge and a wee light lil izula on the other edge) #2 give the option to put a 2nd/mirror image plate on the back. This would let people like Bushman5 or myself who carry big honking Godzilla gutter sized knives to hang em Aussie style (out of the way when clambering on slopes, thick brush, ect but easily accessible.) Thumbs up, looks like a winner winner-chicken dinner concept!
@Allen Morrison , Bro if this could be made to hold my binocs and rsnge finder for hunting you would solve all my problems!
How about making a second plate attachment so you can reconfigure it for different uses without taking it apart piece by piece? I love this idea, I guide fly fishing trips and do a lot of different outdoor activities and can think of endless uses.
I've been thinking of the various uses for this. Something that forces you to be in a seated position for a long time would definitely benefit from this style of carry. Also for concealment, I'm betting it would work great under a jacket that's partially zipped. On horseback, riding a motorcycle, driving for long periods of time. The possibilities are endless.
It's going well. I have a buddy of mine that said he showed it to 2 companies I am supposed to bring a prototype with me to blade. He is supposed to introduce us there on Thursday I think fingers crossed lol
What are the dimensions of this plate? (Inch’s) What’s the thickest kydex you have? Anything slightly thinner than 3/16”” How much for just 2 plates (OD) and 10 mounting hardware nuts/bolts (no straps - this is for something I want to try)
