It would be interesting to try it out with the Phlster Flat pack for times when it's inconvient to just toss it in a pocket.
Another awesome possible use is if it can also be strapped to the bars of bikes, recreational/utility vehicles and maybe even water craft (human powered and motored) I'm hoping to see more development of the chest rig too
I think the @Allen Morrison chest rig was innovative. Very comfortable and minimalistic, especially for UTV access.
Mmmm...I'm thinking left bicep, Izzy 2 mounted upside down.. Wife is thinking right thigh outside jeans with a place for Leatherman, penlight, and Izzy 2.
Allen, I think this would be a great scuba accessory. Is there any metal aside from the screws fastening the accessories? I could definitely use this as an attachment point for stuff like my forearm compass, safety sausage, lift bag, maybe my maps and writing board. Or as a mounting point for tools on our clean up dives.
There are no screws on it accept mounting screws but you could take those out and switch to stainless hardware
Never hurts to have options! For regular use I'd stick the the screws. For scuba I'd probably use shock cord or zip ties.
