One of the reasons I really enjoy traditional designs. People who used tools constantly had hundreds of years to get the design right. Modern interpretations that stay close to the DNA of the "originals" usually are super useable and capable tools. Who's Puukkos did you get to use?
In all seriousness though. I know you have. Remember talking about it with you in Idaho and maybe another time as well.
lol...I've drawn up a few myself....I'd just love to see it done....3/32 Scandi grind....full tang and full width scales...a guy can hope...
It would be great to see you guys roll one out. After playing around with the RB3 I knew that something a tad thinner in scandi would rock.
One that shane had, the 2 arrows and a mora carver. Id like helle someday but im good right now with knives.
Was kicking around the idea of an ESEE Izula or Candiru friction folder. Same sized 1095 blade and same sized micarta scales but with the ability to pretty much carry legally anywhere in the world. Was thinking on this after tossing around the idea of Backpacking thru Europe. Would be a great "no worries" travel knife. Edit to add: a CR2.5 friction folder wouldn't be to shabby either.
I'd like to see another collaboration with James Gibson and Esee for this blade. Phote stolen from @Strigidae
