silky big boy large and x-large teeth. i've just about had it with my other ones which are all medium teeth (black handle)...i don't know if i was just tired or what on the last overnighter but it seemed to cut a lot slower than i remember even though it's a new blade :( my first medium years ago felt like using a chainsaw - it cut through hardwood extremely fast.

silky website recommends a fine for hardwood but from testing (big boy 170 medium vs. super accel fine) on seasoned oak and maple the fine actually cuts far slower than the medium (although the cuts are a lot smoother but i don't care about that for firewood)...so i finally broke down and will test the other end of the spectrum and just get the definitive answer once and for all.

if it's a lot faster than the medium then i'm fine with it since it's really only winter where we have a rager...most times the camp fire is of reasonable size, hehe.

even if i'll need a new blade after every 5th trip then it's worth it...last trip my fitbit says i burned through 5k+ calories in one day - freaking sawing for literally 4 hours will do that...that's 4 hours i could've spent drinking and eating instead of sawing.

His the run time on that when you have it cranked? I've been mulling over either some sort of flood light or a big handheld for the boat.

Edit I just ran it for a solid 5 minute on Turbo 4000 lumens before the thermal management kicked it down to 2000 lumens

Beam shots in the snowy city, tons of ambient light from city lights
