    I had never thought about their being constellations that we can never see from the northern hemisphere, but it makes sense.

    I can only imagine what the night sky looks like from the middle of Australia, away from all civilization.

    I still have not figured out night sky photography....you need to be out bush during a workable moon clcyle and have the patience for yet, that trip was the nearest I came to all those things lining up, next time I am out in the far west I am going to try again.

    I’ve not ever seen that many stars at once.

    Here the sky is mostly black. Too much other light.

    Even where I grew up, out “in the country” there weren’t that many.
