No really professional result, but wanted to share this with you guys, my first sheath... for an Opinel #12 saw. Starting out with some ugly green leather from an old chair. Way to thin for a knife sheath, but not bad if I mess it up. made a paper mockup first before I cut the leather. My hole punch and black leather paint ready My first stitches... YAY! Glued together before stitching. Ohoh... forgot to paint it before stitching Painted, glued, holes punched and rivet hammered in.... ready for more stitches It fits! Yay Sanded the edges, wetformed a little and the waxed with beeswax I'm pretty pleased with the end result. Nowhere near perfect, but decent for a first time imho. Now getting my mind ready for some thick leather fixed blade sheath
Nice job man! That's a whole lot better than my first work, by a long shot. Be warned though, leatherwork gets expensive real quick, but it can be really fun, and very rewarding.
