No really professional result, but wanted to share this with you guys, my first sheath... for an Opinel #12 saw.

Starting out with some ugly green leather from an old chair.
Way to thin for a knife sheath, but not bad if I mess it up. :D
made a paper mockup first before I cut the leather.

My hole punch and black leather paint ready

My first stitches... YAY! :D Glued together before stitching.

Ohoh... forgot to paint it before stitching
    [IMG]

Painted, glued, holes punched and rivet hammered in.... ready for more stitches

    It fits! Yay :)

Sanded the edges, wetformed a little and the waxed with beeswax

I'm pretty pleased with the end result. Nowhere near perfect, but decent for a first time imho.
Now getting my mind ready for some thick leather fixed blade sheath :)

Nice job man! That's a whole lot better than my first work, by a long shot.

Be warned though, leatherwork gets expensive real quick, but it can be really fun, and very rewarding.
